Latest VCAT and PPV editorials now available

We are pleased to announce that the latest VCAT and PPV editorials are now available. Highlights of VCAT Vol 11 No 10 are rolling-out of co-operative housing in Eltham; approval of a multi-storey building in Frankston Metropolitan Activity Centre; the extent to which discretion should be applied in assessing a building that substantially exceeds preferred height controls; removal of a municipal reserve in private ownership; two secondary consent cases in City of Melbourne; whether a permit should be cancelled because of a failure to send an NOD; approval of a Store in the Fishermens Bend employment area; and another case impacting on a MHF in Hobsons Bay. Highlights of PPV Vol 11 No 6 are final approval of Shepparton North Activity Centre Structure Plan; conditional approval to address environmental impacts of Mt Fyans wind farm; support of three major development proposals, two of which were considered by the Priority Projects Standing Advisory Committee: expansion of the Victoria Gardens shopping centre in Richmond; expansion of Cabrini Hospital in Malvern and Stage 5 of the Balmoral Quay development in Rippleside.
