We are pleased to advise that the latest VCAT and PPV editorials are now available, which is the first of the Volume 11 series. Highlights of VCAT Vol 11 No 1 are challenges to planning decisions and planning processes on human rights grounds; whether landscaping falls under the gardening exemption; compensation for land reserved for the OMR;  discharging covenants upon the death of the covenantor; removing single dwelling covenants to facilitate a service station; and the impact of sea level rise on a boat shed. Highlights of PPV Vol 11 No 1 are advisory committee support for a multi-storey building above preferred heights; the Victorian Murray Floodplain Restoration Project EES; and an amendment to the Woolsthorpe wind farm.
