Latest editorials now available

On behalf of the editorial committee, we have pleasure in releasing the latest VCAT and PPV editorials. VCAT highlights include Bayside’s interpretation of election signage dismissed by Supreme Court; damages awarded to nearby landowners of Bald Hills wind farm due to excessive noise; the impact of overshadowing on the public realm from a multi-storey building at Box Hill; and refusal of a major development on land zoned for public purposes at Greys Point in Lorne. PPV highlights include City of Yarra’s new planning vision; recognising smell as intangible heritage at the Vegemite factory; concerns with a Ministerial authorisation for a Macedon Range’s heritage amendment; and a different type of wind farm for Gippsland.
